Standard Features Included In The Base Price Of All Cabin Models
INTERIOR:
- Solid pre-finished tongue and groove hard wood floors in all living areas (living room, dining, halls, and kitchen).
- Berber carpeting in bedrooms and where applicable, stairs and loft.
- Solid tongue and groove wood on ceilings of living areas.
- Solid tongue and groove wood on the interior of all exterior walls.
- Natural semi-transparent stain or clear coat will be applied to all wood ceilings, walls and doors.
- Drywall in all interior partition walls and on bedroom and bathroom ceilings.
- The drywalls will be painted with Sherwin Williams paint or similar.
- Ceramic tile floor in bathrooms.
- Oak wood bathroom vanity and one piece sink.
- Solid wood doors throughout the cabin.
- Oak wood kitchen cabinets with laminated counter tops (several colors from which to choose).
- Kitchen appliances include the refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, and dishwasher.
- Plumbing fixtures will be Delta or similar.
- Additional appliances include Washer, Dryer, and Tankless Titan Water heater.
- Lighting fixtures throughout the Cabin.
- Ceiling fans in bedrooms, living room and loft (where applicable).
- The Cooling and Heating system will be Heat Pump Rheem or Rudd with a 13 Seer Hi-Efficiency.
- All models are Cable ready and Telephone ready in common areas.
- The Humming Bird, Cardinal, and Sparrow Models have an oversized 200 AMP Electrical Panel for future home improvements.
- The Hawk Model will have an oversized 250 AMP Electrical Panel for future home improvements.
EXTERIOR:
- Covered Front and Rear Porches.
- Tongue and groove wood ceilings on front and rear porches.
- Wood Railings where needed.
- Wood Siding on all exterior walls.
- All Windows and Doors have energy effecient double insulated glass.
- Wood trimming around all windows and doors.
- Exterior Walls will be stained with a Water Base Sashco (Capture) Log Stain and the additional finish is a clear coat and exterior water repellent (Cascade).
- Factory painted First Grade Metal Roof with 25 year manufacturer's warranty (several colors from which to choose).
- Electrical Power provided by Tri County Electric.
- Two (2) double exterior Flood Lights.
- Minimum of One (1) exterior Lighting fixture on both front and rear porches.
- Two (2) exterior Water Bibs.
- Cabin water will be either City Water or Well, depending on availability of the lot.
- Septic Tank and Drain Field.
- The Driveway(s) from the public road to the cabin will be Gravel.
Our Simple Life Cabins are built to look like traditional log homes. However, our building methods have several advantages when compared to conventional log cabins or homes. Some of the advantages are listed below:
- The quality of construction used in our system is not affected by the inevitable contraction and expansion of logs in a conventional log home.
- Our building system offers easier access to electrical wires, plumbing pipes, telephone, and TV wires inside the walls.
- You don't have to worry about the possibility of logs warping over time.
- There are no leaks due to warping or contraction and expansion of logs.
- There is no cold or heat intrusion between logs due to normal warping and/or contraction and expansion.
- You will never have to re-caulk between logs or have to fill gaps that may occur in conventional log homes.
- This makes our homes more efficient and less expensive to heat and cool.
- Our construction system makes it easier to have future additions. Remodeling is less expensive and offers more overall design flexibility.
- Our log style cabins have a faster construction process. Simple Life Cabin homes look as good as conventional log cabins or log homes with a more economical and efficient construction system.
